You are invited!
Come Celebrate the GRAND OPENING of our Veterans Center with us.
Our small community is proud of all of our active duty and veteran residents of the greater Bedford Township area. As a part of our efforts to expand our military support network, we’re excited to announce our grand opening celebration of the Bedford Twp. Veterans Center (BTVC) at 760 W. Temperance Rd., Temperance, MI 48182 (the old Temperance Post Office). This event will be held on Sunday, March 18th, 2018 from 2-6pm.
Our BTVC will be a place where you and other military families and affiliates can access information about community resources, local opportunities, and earned benefits. But more than that, it will be a place where you can connect as a community – to meet, relax, and even receive support from staff and each other.
Spearheading the center’s establishment and dedication event is Director Tim FitzGerald. He comments, “Our center supports veterans with a wide variety of tailored resources and a like-minded community. We give veterans the support they deserve, regardless of where they are on their path. The BTVC —a place that serves all local Veterans— is grateful for the support of the Bedford community and local businesses. Our presence in the community is “symbolically significant” in order to serve the needs of our hometown heroes; past, present and future,” states FitzGerald.
Come network with others, enjoy refreshments, and be inspired by our Wall of Honor. Food and beverages will be served and a special memorial item will be given away to all who attend. We will have an artist who will be available for cartoon character drawings for $10! Also there will be a silent auction and lots of giveaways! We would love to see you at the grand opening!
The latest updates will be posted on here and on our Facebook page.
