WE actively create solutions that solve the problems our Veterans face. Our services include private appointments with Veteran Service Officers to determine benefits/claims, on demand food pantry & monthly food distribution to over 40 families, free transportation to medical appointments to Ann Arbor & Toledo VA, support groups, and Veteran court representation. We have strong relationships with our community organizations to help distribute food and attend outreach events as well as organize a golf outing, 5k/1 mile run-walk event, distribution of flags to name a few.

Monthly food distributions occur on Thursdays at the end of each month.
Veteran Service Officer appointments-to make an appointment contact us for details and schedule!
Euchre EVERY FIRST TUESDAY of the month at our center. 1-3pm. Open to the public- you don’t have to be a Veteran.
March 9: BBA Trade Fair
April 18: Francis Family YMCA event
May 11: Stamp out Hunger postal food drive
May 17-18: Flag event distribution at community businesses
May 18: Ida Community Days
June 14: First annual Bedford Veterans
5k/1 mile Bedford High School. 6pm
June 20-22: Rummage Sale Assembly of Christians Church, Lambertville
June 22: 7th annual Golf Outing, Bedford Hills Golf
*Vouchers for Veterans (Bedford Farmers Market -every Saturday Aug-Sept 7)
July 21: Ice Cream Social (hosted by St Luke’s) - pantry food collection /donations
Sept: Shred event by Directions Credit Union.
Collection drive by Bedford schools (football,cheer & band)
Oct: Whiteford Days.
Nov: Q&A for veterans/widowers.
Dec: Christmas in Ida.

Our Yearly Impact
•Over 750 Veterans have come through our doors.
•Veteran Service Officers assisted over 200 Veterans.
•Distributed over 900 meals & hygiene products, nearly 15,000 pounds.
•Over 80 transports.
•Adoption of Veterans and their families for Christmas.

Just follow the steps below on how to participate, simple as that:
- Log into your Kroger Plus account at http://www.krogercommunityrewards.com or via the app.
- Once logged in, click on Edit under the Community Rewards information OR top right drop down menu on app and follow rewards/community rewards to select BEDFORD TWP. VETERANS as the organization.
- Your receipts should show us at the bottom of your receipts!

Gift cards for gas can be donated for our transportation van or for items to fill our pantry.
Non-perishable, unexpired (please check dates thank you!) food and hygiene products Can be dropped off.
